also a reflection for my f and b subject

I was assigned in the kitchen and I accepted it wholeheartedly but before that, I wanted to be a waiter and if I'm not well there are other chances that will come in the future. I can't wait to slice bread and be pressured, but on the day itself all I ever think is my growling stomach. As the member of the group, it is my responsibility to help others so instead to think about food, I immediately went upstairs to deliver the mangoes and proceed to get materials for the flower arrangement. Obviously, majority of our group didn't ate lunch because of the lack of manpower and time but for me manpower isn't the problem but management, if we could only assign one to three persons to buy lunch then all of us can eat and do our work properly (people will not be short-tempered like me). What I learned is to have a initiative because even though we lack planning, no matter what happens on the day of our activity, we should think of other alternative ways in order to solve a problem.

Next is the activity, I got confused about the orders like one ham and cheese and one egg sandwich and all they ever wanted is a half of ham and cheese sandwich and a half of egg sandwich. then two ham sandwiches when all they ever wanted is a ham and cheese sandwich.the kitchen was a topsy-turvy atmosphere where all the waiters kept on bragging about their customer's orders, chefs slicing and beverage persons who prepared, so being one of the assistant chefs in the kitchen, I learned that preparing food is not easy especially when five or more orders came at once. I learned that being a chef, you should be time conscious and very very flexible also be critical minded and always have a common sense, these things can also be applied if ever I am one of the waiters.

The activity was fun, even though we got tired after. I learned a lot of things and I hope that I could apply them in the near future. Right now, I cannot considered myself as a good or excellent assistant but I am very proud of myself because despite of hunger and misunderstanding in the kitchen, I sliced the sandwiches perfectly. I am happy that I experienced this activity and I am also proud of my groupmates especially Roberto for a job well done. Even though were just students, we can do things like people in the restaurant does and even though we made a lot of mistakes, it only made us better persons in the future.
