I look at the profile pictures of my batch mates in high school on facebook and I realized that they are fortunate that they did something extraordinary.

Whereas for me, I always sit on the corner and cultivate mushrooms.

I don’t really want attention; I’d rather sit on the corner, do my own thing and then act like nothing happened. That’s who I am, a loner, and even though I am a talented person, I am still too shy to show it off.

Almost all my batch mates went to prestigious universities and colleges, and later on, will be professionals; makes me realize that I should do something more productive and something to be proud of.

But the question is… what should I be proud of?

I remember my classmates in high school that said that I should focus more on art; Art really is my first love then literature or reading, but since I want to have a fresh start, I entered the world of hospitality management…

…and then boom, got myself literally back to zero.

Maybe I really should get back to painting and drawing, it’s been years since I last paint, well except for projects, but the “pastime” that involves painting and sketching sceneries is somewhat nostalgic.

Well.. first love never dies eh?
