V-day High

I’m high because of the GB’s (Gilbey’s Premium… gin) but then it wouldn’t stop me from writing
this entry.
I’m full of mixed emotions: high, happy, lonely and
extraordinary, lonely kinda felt out of place, but who is when you go home and
found the place empty? I do. Oh the life of being independent.
Anyways, I’ll give you an update of
my extraordinary life, can’t you see I feel really happy this Valentine’s Day
that I say my life is extraordinary? Gosh I’m really so high. Hahaha. 7% of
alcohol and I’m high, I really have a low tolerance of alcohol.
Back to the topic.
Last two weeks had been really fun,
I formed a band named “Side View” and we’re a bunch of beginners in the music
entertainment industry. My band mates
are mostly junior members of our Church Choir, and we usually hang out together
and sing our hearts out, so I suggested we joined the acoustic band
competition, and we don’t care if we didn’t make it up to the finals, at least
we have an experience.
Turns out, it was an epic fail, me
and Zita didn’t blend, I was too loud and then Benjo got really embarrassed, I
was disappointed because we didn’t sing the whole song but who cares? At least
we’ve tried.
We planned on watching the finals
this coming Sunday (with Mark in tow, didn’t know his band also auditioned.)
just to listen to the best ten bands who made it to the finals.
As for the bloody Room Blocking, I
started doing it since last Friday with Jane, together, we taped the papers to
make a manual version of the Room Block used in hotels and with Benjamin and
Anne, we made the room blocking together. It’s nice to make room blocking when
you’re with your batch mates, at least you feel that you’re not alone in
carrying the burden of overanalyzing.
The next few days, I stayed at
Jane’s house to complete the room block, dad didn’t rejected because it’s good
for the both of us (at least he’ll get more rest), turns out I stayed over for
two nights and still he understands that I should finish the room blocking in the wee hours of the morning.
Front Office Exam was fun, even
though majority of us hadn’t any good sleep. Even though I got a deduction of
69 points, still, I learned a great deal out of it, and teacher knows that
front office is not really my forte.
As for my Valentine’s Day, I
finally celebrated it with my friends, wore the shirt that I bought and rode a
roller coaster, chillin with Jane and got home and write this blog entry.
I really thank God that even though
I am full of darkness, somehow, he still shines and made my life colorful, it’s
just that it took me a very long time to
realize it.
